Personal Bio
I have always been an artist and writer.
I was born in Turkey almost sixty years ago
and brought to this country then abandoned by both parents.
I lived a Dickens childhood and suffered horrid abuse, but I survived
and grew up, married and had children. I've worked all my life and have
given to every community that I've lived in. I love children and animals and
the color green. I have a fascination with landscapes and combine layers of
molding paste with neutral colors or bright colors. I love to "feel" my paintings
as they come to life on the canvas and if you look close, you can see texture
and presence. I'm now a grandmother and I work full time, but I love to
share my painting experience with my kids and grandkids.
I'm a published writer and poet, and I own a small publishing company.
I live in the country in New York.
